Western boarding schools in Asia

The increasing commercial dealings of parents in Asia express a strong hope for their children in providing them Western system of education and at the same time staying them near home. Boarding school system for these families are is an inviting alternative which has beneficial features not only because of proximity but also the system of education is viewed as an access in Western education system, which is very different from the Asian method of teaching.

Normally, boarding schools provide various different benefits over local public schools like smaller class, additional educational strategies, high quality educational tools, competitive syllabus, and varied extracurricular activities.

The Western existence able to withstand great force in Asia is also an aspect in the development of foreign boarding schools. For the previous years, the ICEF Monitor general review of international schools, they recorded over fifteen thousand British and around thirty thousand American foreigners were living in Hong Kong. In the inhabitant of a colony in the past, native expat tend to send their children to schools that preserve the educational traditions of their native lands.
