Flash floods, landslides, soil erosion. They all lead into one thing, illegal logging. We have a limit as to how many trees we cut per day and also plant a new one in exchange but, there are certain people who doesn’t seem to understand what limit means. They are called illegal loggers. Loggers who cut down trees without permission. Now, that is an act of violation of laws. It’s violating and at the same time, contributes to global warming. How deadly is that.
Over cutting of trees is one of the reason as to why flash floods often comes in a year. This is a very common knowledge that the trees’ roots can absorbed water therefore lessening the rate of flash floods in a year. Imagine how many lives could be save and how many properties can be spared from the harsh consequence of our mindless actions. This actions can also cause many animals to lost their natural habitat and starved because of the lack of fruit-bearing trees.

Illegal loggers have their own reasons as to why they do this. Guessing, money is probably one of them or maybe even the main reason. Furniture, paper, pencil and there are loads of others things made from trees. Search it on the internet and you’ll be surprised as to how many products are actually made from trees. And more products means more money. The greedy world strikes. A lot of bills and laws has been approved to fight against illegal logging but, it doesn’t seem to stop this selfish actions.
A lot of problems come with a solution and so does illegal logging. Let us start the reforestation operation. Let’s plant more trees in exchange for those we lost. This may be such a hectic job but, think about the benefits. Less flash flood, soil erosion and landslides, more lives saved. Animals can have their home back and our wildlife is preserve. Let’s dwell and drown ourselves in nature.
