Global Warming at its Worst

Posted by Focus Pacific on February 9th, 2026

As we continue on to our daily lives, our Earth is warming up. Reaching a certain temperature that we wouldn’t have imagined a hundred years ago. Global warming is taking its toll on the only livable planet in the universe. It is slowly taking our home away from us and slowly destroying it, and we, the inhabitants, aren’t doing anything in particular to stop it. Instead, we have been doing things to encourage it.

For starters, global warming is a complicated development as to where our planet is increasing in temperature and heat is undeniably present. Global warming alone can cause the ice caps and glaciers to rapidly melt and is the major cause of rising sea levels. In fact, the Earth is made up of 71% salt water. And if this continues, if the melting of ice caps and glaciers continues, that 71% might as well rise. And there could be a percent or two left for our continents and dry lands. Earth is drowning and we’re not even one step closer into saving it.

The rise of the sea levels is not the only trouble global warming is causing. No, global warming is much trouble than you think it is. It also emit deadly heat waves. Deadly because, thousands of people are dying of heat strokes every year. Not just people, animals are also dying because of this. We are involving the innocents here. Animals doesn’t have the idea that global warming is happening. And the only thought they have in mind is that it is gradually getting hotter in every passing day. Let’s take action and save them.

Rise of sea levels plus heat is equals to violent storm. Warm waters gives storms their much needed force and intensity. The more these violent storms attack countries, the more the country’s economic suffers. Damages are made. In just a few days of storm attack, millions of properties are damage. And this all makes sense. Damage properties are repaired by the use of money. The more money spent, the more the country’s economic has to suffer. These are all connected. Follow the red dots and we can see just how global warming is slowly killing us.

Global warming just didn’t pop out of nowhere. It started on something called a greenhouse effect. It is said that there are two meanings of greenhouse effect. The natural one, which is actually good for the Earth and the man-made greenhouse effect which is the upgraded version of the natural one. Enhance by the addition of greenhouse gases by burning fossil fuels majorly petroleum and coal. Now, these are the things that provides the greenhouse effect power. Power to kill the only habitable planet in the whole universe. Now that is some power right there.

And as usual, good always conquer the evil as the famous saying says. With the destructive global warming around, individuals who are aware of itsĀ  harmful nature comes up with ways to lessen its effect on us. One is to reduce reliance on fossil fuel and second is to gain use of the clean and renewable energy. These two are just the common ones among the rest. This only proves that we have the ability to stop global warming. We can actually save our home. Let’s gain courage from the past effect of global warming which actually slaughtered thousands, left millions hopeless, and is capable of killing billions. Let’s save Earth. Let’s take a step.
