Friendship

Posted by Focus Pacific on December 21st, 2024

Sarah Te

My friend once texted me a quote that says, “A friend is the least you can have, and the best you can be”. We need friends in al stages of our lives. Their mission is to make us happy and tell us we’re not alone in times of troubles. Ask yourself. “Am I a good friend?”

(source: http://4.bp.blogspot.com)

First, what is a friend? A friend is someone who will never leave you and accept who you are. Cheers you up in times you’re down and joins you in success. Give you lessons everyday and advices when you need one. Friends are trustworthy. You often trust them more than your parents. You talk about deeper and more personal matters. We must also be careful in choosing our so-called ‘friends’. However, a ‘friend’ is different from a ‘companion’. A companion is someone who hangs out with you, help you a few times and you’ll just talk about simple and common things. When you need them most, they’ll be busy. Again, we must be careful in choosing our friends. “Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character” -1 Corinthians 15:13. There are influential companions who could bring us down and lead us through the wrong way. They could also affect your personality and the way you treat people. Worse, they can control your life and put you away from God. These influential companions can teach you how to smoke, drink or even use illegal drugs while your friends will force you to stop those. A friend will tell you to show your love and respect, to think positive and to prioritize your studies. A friend is whom you treat as your own sibling. A friend’s shoulder is where you can cry. A friend is one who will be with you anytime.

GOD always attempts to lead our ways and guide us through a better life. He also guides us through our friends. Don’t let anyone block God’s ways. Follow him.

“There are ‘friends’ who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.” –Proverbs 18:24

The Forgotten Health Benefits of Chinese Food

Posted by Focus Pacific on December 18th, 2024

The two-week-long Asian party called the Lunar New Year is approaching when people withdraw from their ground level storage and the people in local Chinese restaurant no longer exist. But you should keep those chopsticks because it’s time to celebrate a healthy living and include it on your resolution list by eating Chinese food.

The style and method of cooking of Japanese has a big influence and control over the top of the pages for many years. The food experts also mentioned Korean food as a healthy food.  But sushi-grade fish is disgusting to the senses when it comes to the price. Unlike Korean food, the Chinese food is not valuable. Its staples are convenient to find at any place and helps in promoting a healthy eating.

If you happened to prepare a dish and eat Chinese food which is something real, you will find previous reports about the overwhelmingly salt and calorie that is present in Chinese takeout food misinterpret the food. The classic dish called orange crispy beef has a total of one thousand five hundred calories.  The half Chines writer of an Asian cookbook and made a Chinese-cooking app mentioned that almost all or something like 90% or more are extremely cooked or lightly fry rapidly over a high heat while stirring briskly. Chinese foods have seldom more than two tablespoons of peanut oil which is healthy for the heart and soy sauce.

Based on Shelke’s assessment, if you cooked real Chinese dish chicken breast, five days in a week rather of American dish, that would result to lesser calories in a night which is 124 calories just small pieces consumption. It’s about 32, 500 calories in one year equivalent to 10 pounds and that is the again the celebration of the Lunar New Year festival.

Domestic pets to be replaced by robotic imposters by 2025?

In a period of ten years, robotic pets could take the place real objects based from an Australian researcher. A highly urbanized population may result to real animals to stay only for the very wealthy and robotic replica could become something that is usual.

The research was published by Dr. Jean-Loup Rault, an animal public assistant researcher from the University of Melbourne, who mentioned the promotion for robotic pets will depart hastily ten to fifteen years from now, with big technology companies already     maneuvering for rank in the established market.

The explanations for the practicable transposition of robotic models from real pets are such as well might happen to be caused by the high urbanization of the world. Today, more than half of those in the Western countries own a pet with fast-flowing development in Asia, where having domestic pets is viewed as an example of a person’s social status. Nevertheless, with the world population believed to increase to about ten billion by year 2050, Rault doesn’t see how owning domestic pets can stay realistic.

In addition, Rault thinks that attainable outburst in virtual pets popularity could mean something that could either help or hurt. On the one hand, it would permit the older people and those with allergies to own a pet. Yet, if the number of people gets used to not having to act of giving food or exercise a robotic pets, this could have a damaging outcome on how to care for domestic pets.
